A Rousing Success

We had a preliminary reading of The Yellow Brick Monologues last night. It went splendidly. As a script writer, it's important to hear the work (no matter how silly) read aloud by other people.

I found out what things worked, what things really worked, and what didn't. It was also awesome. Freakin' fantastic. In addition to learning what needs improvement for my own sake, the actors involved had a terrific time. *clears throat* Shazam.

I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Kyleen made a good point-- I had a dozen people quoting me for an hour and a half-- which probably had something to do with it. Still. Great time. Great. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha.

Time permitting, I can't wait to put some polish on this thing and really make it something.
